Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency is one of the twenty-five Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh voting in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections on 13 May, with the results to be declared on 4 June. Bobbili Srinu of Congress, TDP's Kalisetti Appalanaidu and ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) are facing each other for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Vizianagaram constituency, after Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party defeated Telugu Desam. Earlier, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary Nara Lokesh said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had made 50 promises to Vizianagaram district.During the padayatra ahead of the 2019 elections, Lokesh reminded people that Jagan Reddy had promised to complete projects like Bhogapuram airport, Ramatheertham project and linking of Gosthani and Champavathi rivers, but failed to do so. Voting for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be held simultaneously in the state on March 13. Counting of votes for both the elections will take place on June 4. There are 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, YSRCP won 22 seats, while TDP won only three. The main opposition party TDP will take on the ruling YSRCP.TDP has an alliance with Jana Sena Party and BJP. TDP was allotted 14 assembly and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies under the seat-sharing agreement between the NDA allies. BJP will contest elections on six Lok Sabha and 10 assembly seats. Janasena will contest elections on two Lok Sabha and 21 assembly seats. In the 2019 assembly elections, the YSRCP won with a thumping majority of 15 seats, while the TDP was reduced to 23 seats.
