Chennai, Andhra Chamber of Commerce has signed an MoU with Atal Incubation Center at Anna University Incubation Foundation here with an aim to promote start-up ecosystem and aspiring entrepreneurs.

As per the joint initiative, the strategic alliance will help both the partners leverage their strengths and reach a wider audience with Atal Incubation Centre, Anna University Incubation Foundation.

Andhra Chamber of Commerce President VL Indira Dutt exchanged documents with P Uma Maheshwari, Director and CEO of Atal Incubation Center here recently.

Atal Incubation Center will partner with Andhra Chamber of Commerce to promote start-ups, promote their programs and outreach programmes. Initially the focus will be on social sectors and later it will be expanded to other sectors depending on the startup interests.

"We are proud to be associated with the AIC Anna Incubator. The Chamber has started an incubation center and has been the first nurturing home for at least six new enterprises so far." said VL Indira Dutt, president of Andhra Chamber of Commerce.

P Uma Maheshwari, CEO, Atal Incubation Centre, Anna University Incubation Foundation, said, “AIC Anna Incubator is a deep-tech incubator supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India and Anna University. Over the last three years, Anna Incubator has supported more than 100 start-ups with various services like technical support, consultancy, investment facilitation."

Maheshwari said, “Andhra Chamber of Commerce inducts successful entrepreneurs and many of them can be potential business advisors and go-to-market strategists. Startups can learn a lot by associating with the vast member network of Andhra Chamber of Commerce. Will get."
