In a daring move, a 13-year-old girl showed off her wits and scared away a monkey in Uttar Pradesh's Basti district by using Amazon's virtual voice assistant Alexa.
The girl reportedly ordered Alexa to bark like a dog in hopes of scaring off a monkey that had broken into her sister's house. The strategy worked and the girl successfully saved both herself and her sister.
Reacting to the incident, Anand Mahindra wrote on his official X handle: “The key question of our era is whether we will become slaves or masters of technology. This young girl's story provides comfort that technology will always enhance human ingenuity. His quick thinking was extraordinary.”
He said the girl had shown "leadership potential in a completely unpredictable world".
"After completing her education, if she ever decides to work in the corporate world I hope we at @MahindraRise will be able to convince her to join us!!" th Chairman added.
