Arun Byreddy, a native of Hyderabad, Telangana, who handled the "Spirit O Congress" account on X, was arrested from Delhi on Friday, police said. This is the first arrest made by Delhi Police in this case.

"We have added Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 120B (punishment for criminal conspiracy) to the FIR as the investigation has indicated a larger conspiracy," a police officer said.

Following his arrest, he was produced before a court here on Friday night and remanded to three days' custody for further interrogation by the special branch of the police.
