Washington [US], Actor and TV show host Alyson Hannigan recalls being a part of the 1999 film 'American Pie' and talks about her role as Michelle Flaherty, reports Deadline.

“The best story in the whole thing was that, you know, it was a low-budget movie with all these levels of interaction,” Hannigan shared, “There was an A-tier and a B-tier. "Guess I was on the lower C-tier with Seann William Scott."

He explained that the levels were "in relation to pay", adding, "So it's just the scale plus 10 per cent for an agent. There is no negotiation at C-tier because the character is not that important.,

"I was like, 'Okay, fine.' It was seven days and it was a passion project, then, in the contract, there was a sequel," Hannigan continued.

She further added, "I said, 'Look, I am getting a 10 plus pay scale. I am not going to sign for the sequel. It makes no sense.' I felt like I was being really difficult, but I thought it was silly, so they removed that [clause], which worked out really well for me when I did some smart things at the time. Were."

'American Pie' stars Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nichols and Eddie Kay Thomas as a group of high school friends who make a pact to lose their virginity before graduation.

Hannigan reprized her role in 'American Pie 2' (2001).

During her breakout role as Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), Hannigan claimed she was attracted to playing Michelle because the character "surprises you at the end,"

She shared, "I was already playing the perfect person for Buffy, and Michelle was the opposite."

Hannigan played both roles simultaneously because the film's producers "had to clear my schedule for Buffy", but she was "glad it worked out.,

"The second one I worked 11 days because I was still on Buffy," she recalled. Deadline reports, "For the third one, I worked weekends and it was brutal because there was one day I worked all night on American Pie and went straight to the Buffy set. It was a 36-hour day or It was madness." .
