Hailing from Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, Ali talks about his love for proper Kashmiri food.

The actor told IANS, “I love everything about Wazwaan. The entire Taraami is extremely charming. I look forward to a Kashmiri wedding because in a Kashmiri wedding everything is made fresh. It starts being made early in the morning and is served to you.”

Now that he is featured in a show where he has to entertain while cooking, Al finds both jobs difficult.

“Honestly, cooking is hard. I realized today that cooking is very difficult.”

The actor said he is now taking the show as a "challenge" but then there was a small hitch.

“We are being asked to make things that we don't know about or that are made in our homes. "I'm Kashmiri and I've never had Litti Chokha and everything I do in the show is vegetarian, so it's a bit difficult for me, but I love it," she said.

Has he ever cooked for his mother or girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin, whom he started dating after her entry in 'Bigg Boss 14' in 2021?

“I started cooking when my mother cooked. I will sit and help him so, I feel great that, as a child, I helped him, so I have some understanding. I cooked a lot during the lockdown. I will take out the video from YouTube.”

'Laughter Chef's Unlimited Entertainment' airs on Colors.
