Mangaluru: Alva's Education Foundation at Moodubidire, near here, will host a joe fair - 'Pragati' - on June 8 and 9, organizers said on Saturday.
Outlining the idea behind 'Pragati', Vivek M Alva of Alva's Educatio Foundation said at a press conference here that the objective of the job fair is to provide employment opportunities to the rural and marginalized population.
The upcoming edition of 'Pragati', the 14th edition in the series of employment drives, will see collaboration with top recruiters across key sectors including IT, ITES, manufacturing, banking, finance, hospitality and healthcare.
Collaborating with government bodies and social organisations, Alvas has hosted 'Udyog Melas' (employment fairs) at various locations including Chikkaballapura, Mangaluru, Belthangady and Bantwala, organizers said.
