Silpa is seeking re-nomination from Ravi Nandyal as the state goes to polls on May 13 along with 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

Since the 'Pushpa' actor visited the MLA's house without prior permission of the constituency returning officer, a case was registered against him and the YSRCP candidate on Saturday evening.

On the last day of election campaign, Allu Arjun visited the MLA's house to show his support. As soon as information about his visit was received, a large number of his fans gathered outside the house to get a glimpse of their favorite star.

The actor appeared on the balcony along with his wife Sneha Reddy, Silpa Ravi and the MLA's family members and waved to the huge crowd, which was chanting 'Pushpa Pushpa'.

Silpa Ravi, whose real name is Singareddy Ravichandra Kishore Reddy, is seeking re-election as the ruling party candidate in the May 13 elections.

A case has been registered under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (disobedience to order promulgated by a public servant) at the local Tow police station.

Since Section 144 of the Election Code and Section 31 of the AP Police Act were in force, a case was registered against the actor and the MLA.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun in a social media post thanked the people of Nandyal for the warm welcome.

He also thanked Silpa Ravi for the hospitality.

“Good luck to you in the elections and beyond. You have my unwavering love and support,” she posted on X.

Silpa Ravi also posted a video of Allu Arjun waving to the crowd on X, thanking the actor for traveling all the way to Nandyal to wish him good luck for the elections.
