"The president in her speech mentioned the leak of documents. She hoped that all parties would speak above partisan politics. But, unfortunately, they sacrificed to politics even such a delicate and important issue, the issue related to the future of youth .Can there be a greater misfortune than this? said Prime Minister Modi.

"I assure the youth of the country that this government will not forgive those who deceived them. Step after step is being taken to ensure that those who played with the future of the youth of my country are given the strictest punishment. Parliament, we have made strict laws against these irregularities. We are strengthening the entire system so that the young people of my country do not have to be in a situation of apprehension in the future and can confidently demonstrate their ability and get what is due to them...” he said.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government is under fire from the opposition over allegations of leaks of documents related to the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET).

On Monday, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi referred to the medical entrance exam as a "commercial exam" and said students appearing for NEET alleged that the exam is designed for "rich students and not meritorious students."

Participating in the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President for her speech in a joint session of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP-led government over the document leak issue and said there is fear among everyone in the nation. .

"NEET students spend years and years preparing for their exams. Their family supports them financially and emotionally and the truth is that NEET students today do not believe in the exam because they are convinced that the exam is designed for rich people, not for meritorious people. I have met several NEET students. Every one of them tells me that the exam is designed to create a quota for the rich and create a passage for them into the system and not to help poor students prepare for months and months. said Rahul Gandhi.

"There is fear among the youth, farmers, women and the disabled. In fact, not across the country there is fear among your own party (BJP). This is true and that is why you are not shouting now," he said.

The NEET UG exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 5 at 4,750 centers in 571 cities in the country and 14 cities abroad with 23 lakh candidates appearing for the exam.

The results were declared on June 4, which immediately caused an uproar among aspirants who raised multiple issues. An unprecedented 67 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720 out of 720, sparking widespread protests across the country.
