“His appointment will co-terminus with the tenure of the Prime Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” a notification from the Ministry of Personnel and Training said.
The notification further states that NSA Doval will be given the status of Cabinet Minister during his tenure.
Dr PK Mishra has also been re-appointed as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister with effect from June 10.
He will also be given the status of cabinet minister.
