The scheme is designed to enhance employability of students, promote research and innovation, support entrepreneurship and strengthen the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). According to an official press statement, "Professor TG Sithara stressed the importance of experienced professionals sharing their insights with the faculty and the students," he said, adding, "He highlighted how this exchange not only helps the students not only enriches the understanding of the industry needs but also enhances the teaching capabilities of the faculty members, ultimately preparing the students to face the challenges in the job market,” I further said to the eligible persons seeking registration. The statement said that the offer of AICTE-DPS remains valid for the specified period mentioned in the request or invitation letter.Host institutions can apply on AICTE DPS portal to request for specific professionals from the approved panel. After each visit, the institute is required to submit a participant feedback report. On submission in the prescribed format, AICTE will provide a certificate of recognition for the activity.
