Locals claimed that the victim woman was called by JCB for being in an extramarital affair.
The young man with whom the victim woman has accused of having a relationship was also brutally beaten with a JCB in the Kangaroo Court itself.
Trinamool Congress District President Kanhaiyalal Aggarwal has called the incident unfortunate. "The police have been informed and the police are investigating the matter," Aggarwal told media persons.
Chopra MLA Hamidul Rehman said that he has already called JCB to find out what actually happened. Inspector Amresh Singh, in-charge of Chopra police station, confirmed that the police have taken the case into their hands and investigation is underway.
