“It is against all the laws of the state and center because this species of tree has a negative impact on the water level, moreover it is an invasive species and can destroy precious forest trees. Chennithala also called it strange that the Kerala Forest Department had first received funds from the United Nations to remove eucalyptus and acacia trees and then instructions came to plant the same species.
