Taruba (Trinidad), Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup here.

Both teams are competing to reach their maiden final and Brian Lara is unchanged for the crucial encounter to be held at the Cricket Academy Ground.

South Africa is unbeaten in the tournament so far while Afghanistan have won five of their seven matches.
