GRAND RAPIDS (US): Indian golfer Aditi Ashok carded three birdies in the last five holes but still slipped from 10th overnight to 14th at the end of the third round of the Meijer LPGA Classic here.

Aditi, still searching for her first top-10 of the season, had five birdies against two bogeys as she found only two-thirds of the fairways, much lower than the first two days.

However, his putting, which was better than in the first two rounds, saved the day for him.

Meanwhile, Grace Kim walked away from the field at Blythfield Country Club as she birdied four of the last six holes to take a five-stroke lead.

After being tied in the second round with Ellie Ewing, Kim shot 6-under 66 to finish at 17-under 199. The 23-year-old Australian won in a playoff in Hawaii last year for her only LPGA Tour title.
