The briefing included measures to provide medical aid and other essential facilities to the pilgrims.

The ADGP stressed on collaboration with health departments to set up medical camps and ensure availability of emergency medical services.

Apart from DIG Jammu, SSP PCR Jammu, SSP Jammu, all the police officers identified by PHQ for Amarnath Yatra were present in the meeting.

In the meeting, a strategy was made to strengthen the security mechanism on the yatra route and to give special emphasis on sensitive points.

The ADGP highlighted the importance of vigilance and coordination among the forces to prevent and counter any potential threat and discussed effective traffic regulation plans to manage the flow of pilgrims and vehicles, ensure minimum disruption and maximum safety. done.

Officials were directed to coordinate with the traffic department to maintain uninterrupted transit routes.

Contingency plans to deal with natural disasters or emergency situations were discussed. The officials were briefed about the importance of quick response protocols and timely coordination with disaster management teams.
