The absconding man was identified as Firoz Ahmed Khan and was involved in some criminal activities.

A police party of Police Station Boniyar arrested a fugitive namely Firoz Ahmed Khan, son of G Mohammad, resident of Jahanpora Boniyar, registered in case FIR No. 12/2020 under section 498-A, 147,34 and 506 IPC of PS Boniyar. “The court of JMIC Boniyar had issued an arrest warrant against him. He was evading his arrest since 2020. He was produced before the court and lodged in the district jail, Baramulla,” the police said.
Officials said the police are taking strict measures to ensure that all persons who are absconding are caught and held accountable for their criminal actions.
