On Wednesday, the actor shared a video on Instagram Stories, which shows a scene where his character Lallan is testing the mic before an election speech.

The actor wrote on the video, “#20yearsofYuva. Oh God! Can't believe it's been 20 years."

'Yuva' was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil as 'Ayutha Ezhuthu'. It is largely based on the life of George Reddy, a scholar at Osmania University, Hyderabad.

The film also starred Ajay Devgan, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Sonu Sood and Esha Deol in lead roles.

Abhishek plays a villain in the film, who carries out political attacks at the behest of a politician played by Om Puri.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap wrote Hindi dialogues for Abhishek's character in the film. Later, there were differences between the two when Anurag felt that Abhishek did not do justice to his dialogues. However, they put aside their differences and continued to collaborate on 'Manmarziyaan' (2018).
