Jammu: Dozens of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers observed a day-long fast here on Sunday to protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister and party convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
The protest was held at a park in the city's posh Gandhi Nagar area, with participants accusing the BJP of implicating Kejriwal in a "false case" ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
"We have gathered here as part of the worldwide protest against the arrest of a sitting Chief Minister in a fabricated case at the behest of the ruling BJP," the spokesperson said. Senior AAP leader Agya Kaur said she ultimately believes in 'truth winning' as the BJP has been exposed before the people of the country.
