Chandigarh, AAP will hold 'badlav jansamvad' in poll-bound Haryana, under which its workers and leaders will go to each village and interact with people on issues that concern them.

"Did people get jobs? Did farmers get benefits? What people expect, what their next government should be like, all these things will be asked during the event that will start from Wednesday," said the national general secretary (organisation). AAP member and Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep. Pathak said in Karnal on Tuesday.

"From tomorrow, we will start 'badlav jansamvad'. Under this, we will go to every village and talk to the public on various issues concerning them," he said, addressing a 'Karyakarta (party workers) Sammelan'.

AAP workers and leaders will go to every house and tell people that they repeatedly gave opportunities to other parties but were repeatedly betrayed by them, Pathak said, adding that Haryana needs a "big badlav" (major change) this time.

Asking workers to prepare with just over three months left for the assembly polls, Pathak and AAP state unit chief Sushil Gupta, while addressing the event, said they were blowing the election bugle. .

Gupta also claimed that the AAP will form the next government in Haryana after the elections, scheduled for October.

Jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal was scheduled to attend the meeting but could not as the AAP national coordinator's bail matter was to come up before the Delhi High Court, said Gupta.

"You have come to build the future of Haryana. I assure you that you are in the right place," Pathak told the workers.

Claiming that the BJP fears Kejriwal and that is why they jailed him, Pathak said truth triumphs in the end.

Those who were in favor of "dharma" supported the Pandavas even though they were less numerous, Pathak said.

During his speech, Gupta termed the workers as the backbone of the party.

He said it is the AAP that has refocused attention on schools and hospitals, and basic needs like electricity and water connected to the common man, while other parties are trying to divert public attention from real problems. .

"We are going to form the next government in Haryana," Gupta said.

Pathak said Haryana gave numerous opportunities to other parties that ruled the country for decades. But what did those parties do for Haryana? he asked.

These parties repeatedly betrayed the people, he claimed.

That's why this time we talk about "badlav". If a "big badlav" is needed, then Kejriwal and the AAP will have to be given a chance, he said.

Attacking the central BJP, Pathak said, "They kept Kejriwal in jail. When he came into politics, that time too all parties said that he had to be stopped somehow."

"A year after he entered politics, he became CM. When they failed to stop him in Delhi, they said stop him in Punjab. But they failed there too," he said.

When the AAP went to Gujarat and Goa, people of both states also voted for the party, he said.

"When Kejriwal ji receives blessings from the people of Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Goa, why won't he receive blessings in his own state, Haryana?" he said.

They cannot digest the work done by Kejriwal and therefore want to stop him, he claimed.
