New Delhi [India], The uproar over NEET exam results has taken a political turn with the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress on Saturday criticizing the Center for putting the future of students at risk.

Taking to the x, AAP shared a video describing the NEET exam scam, "National Testing Agency (NTA) released the scorecard of NEET UG results on June 4 - the same day the votes were counted for the Lok Sabha. A total of 67 students secured Rank 1 in the exam, with as many as 720 or 718 or 720 marks appearing at the same centre. The government cannot do this.Conducting examinations in a transparent manner is corrupt.”

AAP wrote in the caption of the video, "The fourth pass dictator is busy ruining the future of the students."

Meanwhile, Congress leader and former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar hoped for a strict law to stop frequent paper leaks.

"One thing to worry about is the recent NEET exam scam. The future of the youth is in darkness. More than 30 lakh posts are vacant, I hope they will be filled.I hope for a strict law to stop frequent paper leaks," Kanhaiya Kumar told ANI.

Responding to the discrepancies in the NEET UG Result 2024, Congress's Anshuman Sail Nehru said, "The Congress Party demands an investigation into the irregularities in the NEET examination and results. Lakhs of candidates across the country are raising this important issue which is prevalent in India. Affects a large section of the public."

Expressing concern over this matter, Physics Valhalla founder Alakh Pandey said that he will approach the Supreme Court for the future of the students.

“We are going to the Supreme Court (for the future of our students, now we are going to the Supreme Court) for the future of our students,” Pandey said in a post on Twitter.

Earlier, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Junior Doctors Network has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024.This criticism comes in the wake of controversies surrounding the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and declaration of results.

67 students secured top ranks in the recently declared NEET results, including six from the same exam centre. He further demanded the government to properly investigate the matter by addressing the 'legitimate grievances' of the students.

However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) denied any irregularities and attributed the record results to several factors, including an easier exam, increase in registrations, two correct answers to a question and 'loss of exam time'. Reason includes grace points.

A total of 20.38 lakh students had registered for the exam, out of which 11.45 lakh candidates qualified. The result was declared on Tuesday and 67 students have secured All India Rank (AIR) 1.
