New Delhi [India], Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson posted an emotional message on social media after being included in the squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Samson has shown hard work and consistency as a batsman as the captain of Rajasthan Royals. The Premier League (IPL) benefited him as he was selected as the wicketkeeper-batsman in the team along with Rishabh Pant. After the team announcement, the Kerala-born batsman posted a post in Malayalam on Instagram, "Viyarpu Thuniyita Kuppayam", which translates to "head made of sweat and hard work".

Samson made his T20I debut, which was also his international debut, against Zimbabwe in 2015, but over the years, he has got fewer playing opportunities due to the better performance of other players, the presence of MS Dhoni and Pant as wicketkeepers .Slot and its inconsistency.
