New Delhi, More than a month after a fire at a children's hospital in East Delhi killed seven newborns and injured five, an infant is fighting for his life due to respiratory complications and burn injuries. Used to be.

The parents - Rakesh and Karishma - recalled that fateful night and said they remember when they stood outside the hospital balcony to know whether their first child was alive or not.

On May 26, seven newborns lost their lives and five children were injured in a fire at the Baby Care Newborn Hospital in East Delhi's Vivek Vihar area. Four of these were discharged after treatment.

Rakesh said, "My daughter is still having trouble breathing after the fire incident. However, her burn marks are healing with each passing day. She is still undergoing treatment at Chacha Nehra Children's Hospital. Used to be."

They said they were worried about their child's future and had decided never to tell him about his burn scar. But they also want justice for the parents who lost their children in the fire.

He said, "At present I am devoting my full time to the hospital along with my wife. Both of us have taken leave from work and are focusing on her well-being."

Police had earlier said that while investigating the incident, they found that the hospital was functioning despite the expiry of its license. There were neither qualified doctors nor did they have approval from the fire department.
