Gurugram: A 25-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by two bike-borne assailants disguised as food and grocery delivery agents in a village here. Police gave this information on Saturday.

A senior police officer said the incident took place around 9 pm on Friday night when Anuj, who worked as a bouncer, was in a market area of ​​Ullahwas village in Gurugram district.

The officer said two men on a bike wearing uniforms of Zomato and Blinkit allegedly fired five bullets at Anuj and fled from the spot.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

He told that Anuj was a resident of Kadarpur village and worked as a bouncer in a private liquor shop.

The officer said that an FIR has been registered in the matter and efforts are on to nab the accused.
