Sultanpur (UP), Here a middle-aged man committed suicide after allegedly killing his wife. Police gave this information on Thursday.
He told that in Firozpur village of Kudwar police station area, Afaq (52) murdered his wife Kismat Ul Nisha (46) by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon and later hanged himself.
Circle Officer Shivam Mishra said preliminary investigation indicated that Afa took his wife to the terrace of his house and fatally attacked her with a sharp weapon before committing suicide.
He said that both the bodies were found on the terrace and they have been sent for postmortem.
Police said that locals told them that Afaq was mentally unstable and was taking medication.
CO Mishra said, investigation is going on.
