New Delhi: The Delhi Fire Service on Sunday said seven hospitals and the IG Airport in the city have received bomb threats via email, 11 days after rumors of bombs on an unprecedented scale hitting over 150 schools in Delhi-NCR.

A senior Delhi official said that in Terminal-3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, Burari Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Bada Hindu Rao Hospital, Janakpuri Super Specialty Hospital, Deen Daya Upadhyay and Dada Dev Hospital in Dabri. Bombs were exploded. Threats have been made. Then Services (DFS) said.

According to police sources, airport officials received the threat through email at 6 pm.

Security has been beefed up at all hospitals in the city and additional police forces have been deployed at the airport, although nothing suspicious has been recovered from any location so far.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) MK Meena said the local police bomb disposal squad and dog squad were sent to the spot following a call regarding the threat from Burari Hospital at 3 pm. Teams are investigating the hospital. Nothing suspicious has been found so far. ,

In a statement, an official from Burari hospital said, "Around 3 pm, we received an email about a bomb in the hospital. Following this, all security measures were thoroughly checked and everything was stable. It It was the first time." We have received such an email.”

According to officials, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital also received a threatening email at around 3 pm.

A DFS official said, "Immediately after the call, we immediately sent two fire tenders to both the locations. Teams have been sent to all the locations from where we are receiving calls. Search operations are underway."
