The report surveyed 1,098 senior executives (directors and above) and 1,092 software professionals (architects, developers, testers and project managers, among others).

Additionally, the report revealed that 49 percent of Indian organizations are focusing the efforts of software professionals on complex, high-value tasks, compared to 46 percent globally.

About 47 percent of organizations in India and globally are training software professionals based on business skills and understanding.

Furthermore, the report mentions that 35 percent of Indian and global organizations are assessing and evaluating potential GenAI use cases.

About 20 percent of Indian organizations are running pilots with General AI, compared to 27 percent globally.

About 54 percent said they have the culture and leadership for GenAI implementation, while 44 percent said they have the compute infrastructure and processes and workflows for GenAI implementation.
