Agartala (Tripura) [India], Tripura Police on Sunday arrested a 42-year-old accused in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council exam paper leak case.

Police said that the arrested person has been identified as Chayan Saha.

A case was registered against Sayan Ghosh and Chayan Saha by the TTAADC board in the recent exam paper leak case.

Tripura West police station in-charge Paritosh Das said, "Yesterday a case was registered by TTAADC examination board member Pradeep Debbarma (TCS officer) regarding an examination paper leak of SDO and DPO recruitment. The examination was scheduled to be conducted." June 9, which was duly adjourned."

Das further said, "The board chairman had given a photocopy of the answer key to a local shop of Chayan Saha. On June 8, the answer key was uploaded on various social media."

Photocopy shop owner Chayan Saha was arrested under sections 120B, 418,420 381 of the Indian Penal Code.

“Board chairman Data Mohan Jamatia had given him a photocopy of the answer key to make,” said the Tripura Westest police station official.

More information is awaited in the case. Further investigation is underway.
