Jammu: A car skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening, killing five people and injuring many. Police gave this information.

He said the vehicle was going from Thathri to Kathawa when the accident occurred at Khanpura in Thathri sub-division at around 7 pm.
Station House Officer of Thathri police station, Suresh Gautam, who led the rescue operation, said five people, including a woman and a four-year-old girl, died in the accident, while five were admitted to hospital and their condition was said to be critical.
