Meerut: Four people died in a fire in a CNG car here on Sunday. Police gave this information.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kamlesh Bahadur said, "Four people traveling in a car from Delhi were burnt alive at Jani police station at around 9 pm."
Police have not yet been able to identify the deceased.
"The car was fitted with a CNG kit. The cause of the fire is still unclear. Efforts are being made to identify the deceased and reach out to their families," the officer said.
