Gwalior: A massive fire broke out in a carboard factory in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh early Wednesday and two nearby units were also damaged. A fire officer gave this information.

He said there was no news of any casualty.

Fire officer Atibal Singh Yadav said that the fire broke out in a cardboard factory in Gadaipura area on Morena Link Road and later spread to nearby plastic manufacturing units.

He said 34 water tankers were used to extinguish the fire.

There is no report of any injury or loss of life or property, the official said.

He said preliminary investigation revealed that someone threw a burning beedi in the cardboard factory, which caused the fire in the unit and later it spread to two other units.

All three units belong to a person named Manish Aggarwal, the officer said.

He said that the incident is being investigated.
