Kolar (Karnataka): A sadhu, the head of Anand Marg Ashram in Malur in Kolar district, was beaten to death allegedly over a property dispute on Saturday. Police gave this information.

Swami Chinmayananda was beaten to death while he was in the rest room.

Police have arrested Dharma Pranavananda Swami, Arun Kumar and Praneshwarananda Swami in the case.

In view of the tension in the ashram, policemen have been deployed.
