NEW DELHI: A 27-year-old man was shot dead in northwest Delhi, police said on Thursday.
He said that the victim has been identified as Kashif, the reason behind the incident is not known.
"We received information at 9.45 pm that a person was shot in Adarsh Nagar area. A team was sent to the spot and the injured was taken to a nearby hospital," a senior police officer said.
Police said that the doctors declared the victim dead.
"We have detained a suspect and have started further investigation into the matter," the officer said, adding that the victim used to post pictures with weapons on social media and tell people that he was a terrorist. Is from the gang.
