Mathura (UP), Twenty-five coaches of a goods train carrying coal for Suratgarh power plant derailed near Vrindavan here on Wednesday. A senior officer gave this information.

Divisional Railway Manager of Agra Division, Tej Prakash Aggarwal said that due to the derailment, traffic on three railway lines has been disrupted.

"25 wagons of a train carrying coal for Suratgarh power plant (in Rajasthan) got detailed after Vrindavan yard," Agarwal said.

No one was injured in the incident.

When asked if it had any connection with previous such incidents or any sabotage angle, he said that the reason for the derailment was not yet known. He said that railway employees are trying to clear the routes disrupted due to the derailment.
