Raisen, Two people were killed and four others were seriously injured when a sport utility vehicle (SUV) fell off a culvert in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning. Police gave this information.
The accident occurred near Begumganj on the Sagar-Bhopal road, 80 km from the district headquarters, when the vehicle was going from Chhatarpur to Bhopal, an official said.
At around 4 am in the morning the SUV fell into a 12 feet deep culvert. Police sub-divisional officer Alo Srivastava said two people died and four others were seriously injured.
He said that the deceased have been identified as Bihari Lal Mahobia (60) and his wife Baral Bai Mahobia (55).
He said that four injured have been referred to a hospital in Bhopal for treatment.
