New Delhi: ReNew on Thursday said it has signed five power purchase agreements to supply 2.2 GW of clean energy.

It has also received the letter of award to install 5.8 gigawatt (GW) of renewable energy (RE) capacity, the clean energy firm said in a statement.

It said, "ReNew has announced the signing of five power purchase agreements (PPAs) totaling 2.2 GW of RE capacity, representing a significant expansion of its full contracted renewable energy portfolio. ReNew's total portfolio now stands at 15.6 GW. It's GW."

Of the five PPAs, ReNew signed three solar PPAs totaling 800 MW with NTP Ltd, Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) and Solar Energy Corporation of Indi Ltd (SECI) at an average tariff of Rs 2.59 per kilowatt hour (kWh) .

The company signed another PPA with SJVN Ltd for a 1 GW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project at a tariff of Rs 4.39 per kWh.

Additionally, it also signed a PPA to supply 438 MW of power to a multinational commercial and industrial (C&I) customer.

The company said these PPAs include development of 1,500 MW of solar power and 688 MW of WIN projects and are expected to be commissioned in the next 24 months.
