Thane, A case has been registered against a 20-year-old man and his father for allegedly repeatedly raping their 15-year-old relative in Maharashtra's Thane district. Police gave this information on Monday.
Based on the complaint of the victim's mother, Bhiwandi police on Saturday registered a case under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, an official said.
The accused allegedly raped the victim several times between February and November last year and made her pregnant, he said.
The accused also gave her pills for abortion, the officer said, adding that investigation into the matter is underway.
