Delhi government and New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) submitted affidavit and action taken report on Jasmine Kaur Chhabra's PIL.

Delhi government has given an update to the High Court in the status report.

It was revealed that 143 separate public toilets have already been constructed and 223 additional toilets are currently under construction for the same purpose.

Additionally, plans for an additional 30 toilets are in the pipeline.

Further, the Delhi government informed the court, 1,584 toilets originally designated for persons with disabilities have been designated for transgender persons.

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan Singh and Justice Manmeet P Arora presided over the case.

Advocate Rupinder Pal Singh, representing Chhabra, did not raise any objection to closing the PIL, but requested that the Delhi government be held accountable to the commitments and statements made in the status report and action taken report.

As a result, the court issued an order saying, "While binding the respondent on the basis of the statement and undertaking given in the status report and action taken report, the present writ petition is closed."
