New Delhi: A 12-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her house in Bawana area of outer Delhi, police said on Saturday.
Police said no suicide note was found, but the girl was depressed due to her parents' marital discord.
According to an official, a PCR call of suicide was received in the afternoon.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the girl was living with her father, brother and grandmother while her mother was living separately for the last three years.
Police said statements of family members and relatives have been recorded and no foul play has been found so far.
"Initially it was revealed that the girl was depressed due to marital dispute between her parents," the officer said.
