Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh Housing Minister K Parthasarathy on Wednesday said an action plan has been prepared to construct 1.28 lakh houses for eligible beneficiaries from weaker sections in the next 100 days.

Parthasarathy said the target is in line with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's guideline of setting a 100-day target for all government departments.

"Rs 2,520 crore will be spent to meet this target of construction of 1.28 lakh houses. A target has also been set to complete eight lakh houses by March, which are in various stages of construction," he said at a press conference at the Secretariat. I am in.”

Further, the Minister said that the progress of construction of houses for weaker sections will be reviewed monthly from now on.

Parthasarathy said he has already instructed officials to expedite the work on the residence.
