But this is not the time for allegations and counter-allegations, this is not the time for dirty politics. Atishi said, "For all the allegations and counter-allegations, I would request the BJP to talk to its government in Haryana and get more water to Delhi. If the central government does not intervene in this situation, it will not improve.

Atishi, in his letter to the commissioner, mentioned that the maintenance team worked for six hours to fix the leakage problem, which aggravated the water crisis in South Delhi.

“Our maintenance team worked continuously for six hours and repaired the leak, but this meant we had to stop pumping water for 6 hours and 20 MGD of water was not pumped during this period. As a result, a shortage of 25 per cent of water and runoff will be felt in South Delhi,” the letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner said.

Meanwhile, BJP protested against the water crisis in the national capital.

Following the same, BJP MP from West Delhi Kamaljit Sehrawat and other party workers staged a 'Matka Phod' (break earthen pots) protest in Delhi's Najafgarh.

Sehrawat also inspected the water pipeline in Dwarka and said that the pipes he inspected were broken and a lot of water was being wasted while the AAP government was busy blaming other state governments.
