New Delhi [India]: Former Haryana Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said there is no fear and the government will definitely be formed.

After winning from Haryana's Karnal Lok Sabha seat, Khattar said, 'Government will be formed, no fear...'

Taking the X, he wrote, 'We do not weave dreams but reality, that is why everyone chooses Modi... Respected Narendra Modi ji was unanimously elected as the leader of NDA in the NDA meeting held in New Delhi today.' Under Modi's leadership, India is committed to serving the poor, women, youth, farmers and exploited, deprived and oppressed citizens."

He further highlighted that the NDA government will continue to work to improve the living standards of the people of India by preserving India's heritage and for the all-round development of the country. He said, "The NDA government is committed to fulfill the resolve of a developed India."

Notably, the Congress made significant gains in Haryana by winning five Lok Sabha seats and dealt a blow to the ruling BJP, whose seats in the state dropped from 10 to five.

For Congress, Kumari Shailaja (Sirsa) registered a big victory, while Deepender Singh Hooda won the Rohtak seat.

Notable winners included prominent BJP leaders, former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar (Karnal), Union ministers and sitting MPs Rao Inderjit Singh (Gurgaon) and Krishan Pal Gurjar (Faridabad).

Voting took place on May 25 in the sixth phase of the 2024 general elections in Haryana. 64.80 percent voting took place in Haryana.
