Mumbai: Superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan on Thursday greeted hundreds of fans who gathered outside their residence on Eid.

While Aamir posed for the shutterbugs at the beginning of the day, Shah Rukh and Salma posed for a crowd of fans in the evening.

At around 6.30 pm, Shahrukh was seen waving to the huge crowd present outside on the raised platform built in the premises of his Bandra bungalow Mannat.

Dressed in a white Pathani suit, the 58-year-old actor greeted fans with 'Namaste', 'Salaam' and a thumbs up and also kissed people standing on the road. His house is full.He also recreated his signature open arms pose.

In the one-minute long video shared on social media, Shah Rukh can also be seen gesturing to the crowd to step back and maintain law and order when many of them tried to break the police barricades.

The 'Pathan' star wrote, "Eid Mubarak everyone... and thank you for making my day so special. May Allah bless us all with love, happiness and prosperity."

According to sources, the annual function was also attended by Shahrukh's son Abram (10), who was dressed in white along with his father.After about an hour, Salman reached his house in Galax Apartment in Bandra. The 58-year-old actor, dressed in white, was accompanied by his father, veteran writer Salim Khan and some armed bodyguards.

Like Shah Rukh, Salman too came to the balcony to greet his fans, folded hands, said 'Namaste', said 'Salaam' and waved to the waiting crowd.

Some of his fans were seen climbing trees with smartphones in hand to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.

There were also reports that Mumbai Police resorted to lathicharge outside Salman's house after a mob of fans broke the barricades.Dressed in a white kurta pajama and black sandals, Aamir celebrated Eid in the afternoon with his sons Junaid Khan, 23, and Azad Rao Khan, 12, who were also photographed wearing matching white outfits.

Later, Aamir - who will be returning to the big screen with "Sitaare Zameen Par" - was seen distributing sweets to the paparazzi outside his Bandra home.

The day started with Salman announcing his next film "Sikander", directed by A Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandso Entertainment.

Salman's film releases are synonymous with Eid, this year it is an exception.

Eid, or Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan when believers fast from dawn to dusk.

Film personalities like Sushmita Sen, Kiran Rao, Sunny Deol, Chiranjeevi and J NTR wished fans Eid on social media.
