Reigning youth world champion Vishwanath (48kg) led the charge for India with a 5-0 win over Iran's Hassani Seydarsham in a one-sided quarterfinal encounter.

Senior national champion Akash (60kg) defeated Ebadi Arman of Iran by the same score of 5-0.
