A division bench of the Allahabad High Court had on Tuesday barred the entry of two lawyers into the premises of the District Court, Allahabad.

, The High Court has also stopped Ran Vijay Singh and Mohammad Asif from entering the district court premises of Prayagraj. We have canceled the licenses of four lawyers because their names were mentioned as accused in the FIR lodged by the plaintiffs at Colonelganj police station on April 29.

Acting on a reference sent by the District Judge, Prayagraj, a division bench also issued notices to both the lawyers and asked them why they should not be punished for criminal contempt.

The court had also directed the Prayagraj District Judge to submit a report after watching the CCTV footage regarding the involvement of other lawyers or persons in the incident.

In the same order, the court had also directed the Police Commissioner, Prayagra, to submit a report regarding the existing security arrangements in the district court.
