Bhopal: A Jammu-bound train was searched for 40 minutes at Rani Kamalapat station in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal on Friday morning after a passenger claimed that he found some suspicious object in the train, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) official said. Is.

RPF Commandant Prashant Yadav said that the Pune-Jammu Tawi Jhelum Express was searched at Rani Kamlapati station at around 9 am, but the information turned out to be a rumour.

He said one of the passengers on board the train informed the ticket checker about the presence of a suspicious object, following which the train was stopped at Ran Kamalapati station.

However, nothing suspicious was found during the search that lasted for about 40 minutes and the train left for its destination at 9.40 pm, the officer said.

He said that the passenger is being interrogated.
