Panaji, Goa: The ruling BJP on Wednesday claimed that the opposition Congress can hold election-related events in both the Lok Sabha constituencies in the state within a span of a few hours thanks to the "fantastic" infrastructure created by the Narendra Modi government, thereby making commuting easier. The Congress on Tuesday held meetings for the Lok Sabha election campaign - first at 9 am in Patradevi in North Goa constituency and later at 12.30 pm in Margao in South Goa.

Speaking to reporters, Goa BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tanawade said the Congress could complete both its programs on time because of the infrastructure created by the Modi-led NDA government.
He said, “From north to south, the Modi-led government has built road infrastructure and bridges, making commuting easier.This is the strength of BJP and its government."
But if Congress had ruled at the Centre, the leaders would have been stuck in a jam, he alleged.
The BJP on Tuesday launched a campaign on social media, claiming that the Congress can handle both its functions because of the roads developed by the BJ government.
The BJP wrote on social media that it was possible for the Congress to travel by bus from Margao to Patradevi border in North Goa, deliver speeches and return to Margao in time to launch the South Goa campaign only because of "excellent road infrastructure".
