Munawwar unveiled the official teaser on social media and titled it "Eid Mubarak".
The one-minute, forty-three second teaser takes viewers back to 1999, when DVDs were all the rage. In this, Munawwar's character is shown saying that Bollywood is more afraid of DVDs than guns.
He then talks about how the public will not want to wait for the film to be released on Friday and how they will have to get "copies".
Munawwar, who plays a gray character from the world of piracy, said, "Over the years, my fans have always stood by me and supported me in whatever I have done."
He further added, “So, I wanted to give them a special gift by announcing this project this year, where they will see a new side of me. I am curious to know everyone's reaction to it.
