Rajgarh (Madhya Pradesh): Three people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured when a car collided with a parked truck in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district on Monday morning, police said.

The accident took place around 9.30 am near Saredi village on the Agra-Mumbai highway under Pachor police station area, an official said.

Pachor police station in-charge Akansha Sharma said the car driver lost control over the wheels, as a result of which the vehicle collided with a stationary container truck parked on the roadside.

Three people, identified as Attar Ramila (30), Hamji Khan (35) and Bhagwan Dagdu (32), died on the spot, while two others were injured, he said, adding that all of them were from Maharashtra. Was a resident of Kolhapur district.

The officer said that the injured were referred to Shajapur after first aid in Pachor.

Police said that the family members of the deceased have been informed.
