New Delhi: Kumar Raghavan of AWS said the Indian startup ecosystem is mature, with many headwinds as India is poised to become the world's third largest economy.

In conversation with Amazon.in, Raghavan, Startup Head, Amazon Web Services (AWS India and South Asia), discussed the vibrant Indian startup landscape, noting its strengths and innovation potential.

“We are the 5th largest economy, we are poised to become the 3rd largest economy… The factors that will contribute to this are labor growth, infrastructure development and efficiency improvements, where technologies like GenAI will play their role, a The large developer ecosystem, the ability to make products in the country and service the entire world, then there are regulatory tailwinds like Make in India and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme,” he said.
